Dine Out - April

Where i’m finding dining deals this month

We took a Saturday day trip to Cambridge, OH to meet with our wedding caterer.

But first we stopped at Kennedy’s Bakery for donuts! I love small town bakeries where items are so affordable.

Next we went to meet our wedding caterer, Theo’s, & do a menu tasting. This wasn’t even everything they brought out for us to try! We haven’t decided the final menu fully yet … but there will be buffalo chicken dip.

We visited Georgetown Vineyards before we left - a vineyard & restaurant that overlooks the town. They make brick-oven pizza & have live music on the weekends. They also have happy hour everyday from 5 - 7 with $2 wine pours. And as you can see … they are generous on the pours.

Adam & I went to Slice of Worthington - a fundraiser event where you can try 12 local to Worthington pizza places and vote on your favorite. Tickets were only $12 and 100% of proceeds benefitted feedworthingtonkids.org, a program providing weekend meals to food-insecure kids through the Family Mentor Foundation.

Jet’s Pizza always has my vote!

A Monday night happy hour with some friends. Cooper’s Hawk has my favorite sparkling wines & one of my favorite happy hours in the city!

One of my favorite local bloggers, Breakfast with Nick, frequently mentions how great Preston’s is, so Adam & visited the one at Woodland’s Backyard on a Friday Night. It did not disappoint & the chef came out to see how we liked it since it was our first time visiting. Definitely recommend the green goddess sauce to go with … everything.

Happy Earth Day! To celebrate, Northstar Cafe gave out free veggie burgers at each of their locations for the 15th year in a row. Some co-workers & I visited the Short North location on our lunch break.

Tried out Yellow Brick for 614 Pizza & Beer Week - a week-long event where dozens of Columbus pizza places offered discounts on specialty pizza & beer.
